In November 2015, I began working for Digital First Media in the Oakland Press building in Pontiac, MI as a paginator. I was hired in as part of the New York team, which is dedicated to designing and creating DFM papers in New York. While I started on The Morning Sun, I eventually graduated from that and started building New York papers, specifically The Record, based out of Troy, NY, and The Saratogian, based out of Saratoga, NY. I also helped build special sections for Troy and Saratoga news like Community News and The Weekender, which go out to press on Thursdays.

I have included a few samples here of pages I designed that were praised by my editors in Michigan and New York. This includes the front I did on opening day of racing season in Saratoga, where racing is a huge part of their local. I also included two inside fronts, which received similar positive reviews.
